Before writing a manuscript, literature review, or even your IRB, make sure you import your references into whatever management system you and the team agree on. All these applications can be integrated into word processing software like Word (or even Google Docs). They have multiple reference styles and can be shared online so a team can work on it collaboratively.

KSU provides Mendeley and Zotero via their software website for students here

Again, there is a lot of material that guides you regarding using those systems - for example:

As a supplement to our guide, you will find on this page folders and booklets prepared by The Vice Deanship of Postgraduate Studies and Research. They are aimed to provide faculty and the members of the College of Medicine an insight into research facilities and research funding available.

Research Facilities In The College Of Medicine

This booklet is a collection of all labs, centres, and facilities that are based in or affiliated with the College of Medicine. The listing includes contact details and available techniques. This is useful if your research group is keen to run a certain experiment that your supervisor has no access to.

Current Funding Opportunities: Grants And Funding

This booklet is mostly if not entirely, geared towards faculty members, but it is useful to know as you could, as part of the research team, point to certain opportunities. Deanship of Scientific Research has various programmes that are aimed to support publishing as well.
